Calling it quits and retiring. I have to say what a class act this guy is. Very impressed on and off the field and how he handles himself, family, friends, community etc... Professional sports needs more dudes like him. Good luck to you Kurt. Respect.

p.s. I liked his reference to no drama before he started his press conference.

I live in the St Louis area, and many here (media included) question Kurts HOF resume. I think he's a shoe-in. Gotta respect the man, he took 2 of the worst franchises in the NFL to the SB...3 times. I was hoping for 1 more year, but can't blame the guy.

Warner was a great QB. I remember his name when he was in Green Bay's 1994 training camp trying to beat out B. Favre, M. Brunell and T. Detmer. He was released before the season started and the rest is a "storybook" career. Seems to be a class act.

    M. Leinart is already feeling the pressure for next year.

I'll miss him playing. No question he'll be in HOF in 5 or 6 years.

Probably my favorite football player to ever play right behind Faulk. Those days of the "Greatest Show on Turf" were some good ones for Rams fans.

He has always been a class act, and I agree with you guys that he is a future HOF'er

Yep.... Kurt was definetly a class act QB when that seems to be all but gone anymore. There was just something about Kurt that made you route for him.... even if you didn't know about his past and how he went from bagging groceries to one of the top 3 post-season QB's of all-time... hell, if his defense had made one single play in the two SB's he lost... he would be 3-0 and would over-take Joe Montana for the best post-season QB ever.
