Hey TJ what's the purpose of this thread? Are you trying to find new guys to ride to the g2g with next year? Is that why you ditched us last week? Cole I think we need to be pissed....
Nah just tryin to find some dudes that aren't complete sissy's. actually been noticing a few newer guys posting from KS, thought it'd be nice to see what part of the state everyone is in.
Haha! Touché! I have noticed a multiplication of Kansans as well. Maybe we should all request to be on the same deer hunting contest team for this year?
not bad looking bcuks at all!! Much better than what I was seeing last year with all the drought!! I've only had my cameras out a few weeks and I can tell the antler growth is looking much better this year.
Yeah ours look good overall and for our area they are above average. We're in only the second year of year around intensive management here with some management the two years prior. We've been able to see some gain every year but this year is really going well. I've gotten a glimpse of a couple more that are better than anything I've gotten on camera but so far they've avoided my cams. Probably staying in the neighbors 350 acres of corn across the road.... Yours look to be in a whole other class.
This will be my first year to be able to do any management so I'm pretty excited!!! Planted my first food plot and started running 3 more cameras this year. Hoping this will be the year that I arrow my first buck worthy of being hung on the wall!!!
Really. You have deer like those you posted just naturally walking around like that huh...nice. Are there any managed farms and/or hunt clubs around that area. Are you in Rice county, seems like I've seen a lot of hunt club farms advertised out there in the past. Advertised as in real estate advertisements, I often flip through classified ads looking at large parcels of land in Kansas. Generally the large tracts of land for sale seem to be hunt clubs, anyway just curious...it's awesome you have deer of that caliber already running around out there, very impressive. Those are a credit even to Kansas, lol.
