I just returned from a 4 day hunt with a friend of mine on his boat. No deer were harmed in the taking of these pics (not by me anyway). Marshall took one with the .338 on the last day to put something in the freezer. I've still got a goat tag and another boat trip coming up so it's not over for me yet... My friend Don just shot one a few miles south of where we were in the boat. It bounced 5 times on the way down the cliff and landed 10 feet from the skiff on the beach. I do love a .340Wby for what it does on game but I still wish he had shafted her instead!!! No packing involved... I doubt I'll be that lucky.
Awesome pics again Rob. I'm not entirely sure how, but I'm going to try my best to make it back up there next year somehow. Get after those goats now!
