Nt a chance in the world. The Dream Team was a bunch of sharks. When they smelled blood it was over. This team does not have the killer instinct the Dream Team had.

Well, it's not like the Dream Team actually had any competition.

Funny thing is the current team hasn't even won anything yet. Kinda like the media touting the american league line up in the all star game was on par with the best ever. They didn't even score a run.:D

Larry's response to Kobe: "They probably could. I haven't played in 20 years and we're all old now" haha

You're right. But you can only play the teams on your schedule. If each team played the other in their prime, the original Dream Team would crush them.

    Great post.

    And this.....:tu:

And.....I listened to ESPN all day and the only guy that really made a case for the 2012 team was Doug Gottlieb and he wasn't really sure I don't think. But you guys are right, those ESPN guys are morons.:)

So I guess what we're saying is.... anyone who knows anything is picking the Dream Team. LOL This years team may very well loose... even with Coach K at the helm.

The real question is would coach K rather be on 2012's bench or 1992's bench since he has coached for both teams :P

Just listened to it. Didn't sound like he did to me. At best he said they would have a chance. He's said best of 7 the 1992 wins in 7. He said one game, 1992 wins.

Bird has more basketball IQ than the entire current dream team to the power of 100.

Threw out his career Bird beat guys that were better athletes than him. His celtics played basketball. Most of the current team do not even know how to play basketball. They are basketball shooters, bird and the boys were basketball players. Big difference.
