Anyone have any advice on a good but not overly pricey sharpener? One for in the kitchen or in the field… Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
https://www.basspro.com/shop/en/wor...sharpener-with-tri-brasive-and-pivot-response I've seen sharpeners like this work really well. I have a knife shop in town that has one similar to this. Unfortunately I don't know the brand they have. But it took them no time to put an edge back on my hunting knife.
I switched to havalon replaceable blades for gutting, skinning and deboning. Surgical sharp with no sharpening. I also have a filet knife which is my main deboning knife. Just got it last year and haven’t sharpened it.
Love my warthog. Easy to use. https://warthogusa.com/?gclid=CjwKC...WrhiPqH4fKJIN_ogXE_ShY_chXJBlkgRoC9lAQAvD_BwE Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk
I used lansky guided rods for awhile and got v ery good results but they were finicky. Id say difficulty was medium. This new one i got from worksharp is awesome though. Dial it in to the angke you want and go.
Worksharp ken onion edition has been good to me since I got it this spring! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
