I am thinking about adding a kisser button to my bow to help shoot a little better. What kisser button do you guys use and like. I do like to wear a face mask, but I normally don't cover my mouth. Whats are your thoughts, Thanks guys.

I used to think they were necessary, but this year when I went to my new setup the proshop guy talked me into trying to shoot w/o one. Been shooting just fine ever since. The tip of my thumb is my kisser.

I've always liked having one (or using some serving in that location). What little speed you lose is negligible, and it's just one more point of contact reference for my anchor.

When I bought my Assassin I decided not to get a kisser. I shot it all spring and summer without on. I learned early this season in Ohio on really extreme angle shots I missed having that extra point of reference. So I put a Draves Komfort Kisser on it. I like it.

I haven't used one in like 16 years.

I touch the bow string to the tip of my nose.

If you're going to use one, make sure it is just a small piece of serving or a small kisser. The big kissers that most use are just too big and cause as many issues as they solve.

The problem I have seen is most kissers are not positioned correctly and you have to get into an unatural position to shoot.

Most would throw them away if they learned how to anchor properly with a properly fitted bow, but there are a few that use them correctly.

I've always viewed them as a crutch and I have a droor full of them from people that no longer need or want them after I set them up and a short coaching session.

yeah, I also do that as well. between that and the thumb tip in the corner of my mouth at full draw I have 2 tactile anchor points, and I never have to worry about a kisser slipping up or down the string, which happened to me once long ago (at least it was on a 3d shoot and not in the field.)

Had one on my first bow but I never liked it. Have gone without one ever since.

I had a kisser on my last bow. When i bought my new Hoyt, the guy actually refused to put one on (he did it nicely and in a joking manner though). He spent a couple of minutes with me making adjustments and told me to go try it for awhile without it, with the disclaimer that if I insisted just come back in and he'd reluctantly put one on for me. :).

I've never been more accurate. I look a bit like a moron when I shoot, but I really like it now. I literally smash my nose on the string now, until I look a bit "piggy". At first I felt like a dork, but my accuracy has gotten considerably better.

    No more kisser for me.
