I received a call today that they will do $995 and return our trade-in on the vacuum which again was supposedly the sales reps "team leader's" cost. I kindly remind the guy that they told my wife initially that $1550 was team leader's cost when she declined that price and I felt I was dealing with a used car salesman. I don't care how good Kirby vacuums are. I will never buy anything from them. It costs us $33 which was the cost of the stop payment on the check (Which is a racket in itself). Could have been much worse. This all started by a young man asking to clean our front glass door. I was pissed she even allowed him in our home with my 3 boys while I wasn't there. I think she learned a valuable lesson. Did I mention the initial quote was $3450? I wonder how many people fall for this sh*t. They were suppose to come pick up the vacuum today which they never did. I sure hope they still have our vacuum or there is going to be a real problem!
Tons, theyve been around for decades. Got my ex wife, the "spaceship material" really gets them. Along with the "steam cleaner" im still irritated by her and the stupid move in buying the vacuum. She paid for it with "her money" but hell, who paid the rent and bills. Me. I think she paid 2400 or 2700 for the whole package. MAN IM SO MAD AGAIN.
