In Africa? Don't care and you can't really compare hunting to in the US and Canada to Africa, not even close.
I know it can't be compared. . I'm just curious what other people think of the animal types he kills.. before everyone jumps me I'm all for hunting many different kinds of animals but not endangered rhinos lol
If I was a CEO of a major corporation that runs TV and radio ads I would not be posting those activities on social media. Not that what he is doing is wrong but why give the fodder to the cannons?
As controversial as trophy hunts are, especially in Africa. The money from these hunts is the best hope the endangered species have for survival. Without that money, there would be no way of paying the Rangers that fight poaching, and the animal populations would be decimated. ...
One of the excuses often used as justification for expensive trophy hunting escapades is that all that cash ends up getting donated to conservation programs that help repopulate the prairies, plains, and jungles with endangered species. But this isn't actually true, as only about two percent of the proceeds from these hunts ends up being used for conservation purposes.
Copied that .. not sure if true... I'm not bashing anyone for hunting these animals.. just curious why anyone would want to kill a extremely endangered black female rhino?
If they do their homework and go with reputable outfitter where the money goes where it's supposed to then I'm all for it. Lots of scams going on though where the money lines the wrong people's pockets.
Yeah but the antis even when told those facts are still dead set against it, and do not $ up to support the way hunters do.
There is no way I would ever hunt a Rhino, or en elephant for that matter. But I have worked in Africa, and I know how things are over there. If it was not for the $$$ trophy hunts bring in, most of these animals would be gone.! ..
