Should have I linked a statement from Fox news? Does that make it believable? CNN had the story referring to the South Korean intelligence last night before anyone else was reporting it. So I just read it and thought it was funny. I think a lot of stuff is funny, like people calling a news source "fake news" bc it doesnt align with their preconceived political notions or agenda. I havent watched major news network news shows in a long time. I listen to NPR and read The Atlantic but I'm also a left leaning libertarian and think both sides are lead by idiots but only the truly idiotic pick a side and back them without any question and with fervor.
NPR is the Polit Bureau of the liberal air waves .... it is the home of socialists and lefties and those that truly like FAKE NEWS ...... kinda explains quite a bit about those who listen to it and how hateful they are .... smh ... .....
getting back to the title of this thread ... no one outside of NK/CCP knows if the fat man is alive or dead, there is much speculation that he is either dead or on deaths door step, he has been in poor health for some time .... reports are that his 'sister' would be the one that would take over if he is gone (if), and she is supposedly much tougher than he was/is ...... the truth will finally come out

The information in the report may or may not be accurate; but the fact that South Korean intelligence is putting that info out into the news cycle is not really up for debate. Per the POTUS news conference last week; our intel is also cautioning against the reports of his demise. I love news outlets "reports on reports" and how quickly the information therein is dismissed out of hand or gobbled up wholesale depending on if it supports/refutes a person's bias. Who knows; this all could have been a NOKO mole hunt....see who is leaking to the Western press. I believe next to nothing that comes out of Communist SE Asia without vetting and re-vetting. However, you are correct in that the West has been underestimating/misunderstanding the motivation, levels, and sophistication of Communist Asia in general (and China's specifically) deceit and powerlust for damn near 75 years now. Dnoodles you know I love this country and I agree with your post. I havent studied enough these days but is the United Staes a deceptive country as perceived by other nations? Do we infiltrate foreign economies, start and support contra fighters, manipulate the radio/tv/internet in attempts to better our country? And all doing so while wearing a suit and tie, with a handshake to follow. That all being said. I understand dirty work has to be done by men in order to survive and protect.
