Im thinking of switching from the NAP Thunderheads to the NAP Killzones, which ones would you recommend? The Killzone Low KE, The reg Killzone or the Killzone Max? What are the pros an cons of each one? Also do any of you have any negative reviews on these heads? All ive heard so far is awesome reviews, are they really that good?! Lol

i shot a nice buck with a killzone last year right behind the front leg. perfect shot, and it did not open up. i got pictures of the deer on my trail cam the next day with a hole right there. I would recommend the rage hypodermics. Yes, they are more expensive and you have to worry about the shock collars but I've never lost a deer with them yet. Massive holes and blood trails.

Before I started shooting fixed heads I use to shoot the Spitfires, Killzones, and Killzone Maxx's. The Killzones are a heck of a broadhead and will do good by you. Their blade retention system is an awesome feature!

    Killzones...Got blood????

I don't see how a KZ that was new could not open up with its blade retention design. I've had great results and will continue to use them. All pass throughs so far and deer have all died quickly.

I'm using the Trophy tip regular ones. I don't see the need for the MAXX

Well, I'll ask. What is your set up? DL, DW, arrow weight? That will determine which Killzone will work best for you.

With your short DL and light arrow I wouldn't recommend any of the killzones.

I tend to agree. That DL is a killer.

Agreed with these guys. I love my Killzones, but I'd recommend a fixed blade head for the energy your setup is producing. I don't think you need a cut on contact type head, if it was me I'd be going with a Slick Trick or something similar with a steel ferrule and razor sharp blades.

    Meh....

I'd also recommend a fixed blade. I've been real happy with my Hell Razors.
