I shoot the deep six version with COC tip. I chose the COC because they don't offer a trophy tip version for the deep six insert system. Also, I love my killzones, just make sure you're packing enough KE and momentum to bust that 2" blade through your quarry, it takes a decent amount of energy.

I've got a set of the Killzone Max's with the bladed tip. They seem very solid and well built and are durable...seem to penetrate a block target pretty good but they sizzle going downrange.

I prefer their fixed Hellrazors or the Bloodrunner-3 mechanicals personally but don't see much wrong with the maxx's. The Maxx's will deffinitely cut a heck of a hole.

I kicked this around HARD this year. I considered trying them and really wanted to. I have been shooting G5 Montecs for a few years now for several reasons. Durability, they shoot very well, and the have bone crushing penetration. I shot expandables several years ago and was very disappointed. But I figure they have come a long way since then, yet I just can't make the move..... I bought a fresh pack a few weeks ago at my local shop and when I took em to the counter the owner of the shop mumbled... I hate sellin those things, to which I replied... Why.... and he said, because once a guy buys a pack he is set for the year and doesn't buy any more........... nuff said IMO I have one in my quiver that has killed 4 deer, I run them across my 3M diamond pad a few times and they are razor sharp again..... I appreciate that in a tool of any kind.

I switched from G5 Montecs to COC kills zone max's this year. I had no problem with the Montecs, I just wanted to give the mechanicals a try. I have only shot one doe this year so far, but it sliced all or part of 4 ribs on the entrance and the blood trail was incredible. She went about 35 yards.
The blood trail was better than any I had with the Montecs, but the end result was the same. I really think shot selection is more critical than broadhead choice.

I've shot Muzzy's for years and still do. My son gave me some Killzones last year and asked me to give them a try. I killed two deer and an antelope and got really good performance on all three animals. Shots were at 22, 23 and 14 yards and all animals died within 40 yards of where they were shot. Any broadhead would have killed them but the hole the Killzone put in them was huge and the blood trails were crazy. They shot well out of my set up out to 60 yards.

I shoot and have always shot Muzzys myself. With the great performance you got with the Killzones, why didn't you make the switch? Just curious.

COC Low KE for me. I draw 64# but like the smaller head for more penetration!

Shot a doe on Saturday, she was quartering away from me and as I shot she turned a little bit. My arrow hit its mark and upon field dressing her we found that the killzone had completely cut 5 ribs in half. I had just picked them up the previous Thursday before the hunt, I got the chisel tip version of them and they fly just like my field points. Also the broadhead I shot her with is still in perfect condition, sharp!

have great luck with these heads so far. my little brother (14) even hit a twig last year sending the arrow into the rear upper leg, must have gotten lucky with the artery but the deer only made it 25 yds
