I was looking for new broadheads and i saw the kill zons. I was wondering if any of you have used any yet
There will most likely only be a select few that have used the kill zone as it was just released. I am not sure if you can even purchase them anywhere yet.
They are available on eagle archery's website as of last week. I preordered my D6 version from NAP and they shipped Friday, I'll try to have a review up sometime soon.
I shot them this morning and they fly right with my field points out to 30 yards. Shot a couple into my 18-1 and they left a full 2 inch cut in the target face. No experience shooting them into an animal yet, but I'm looking forward to it.
Are you sure??? They have showed available on Eagle Archery's site for at least a couple months. I called them last week and they said they didn't have them yet.
You're right on that. I just called to confirm for myself. They show them available on the website, yet have none in stock at the current time. That kind of made me angry, I typically have no problems ordering from them.

Just got mine in the mail today. they look great! cant wait till deer season starts to take them into the woods

Thats great. I wont be able to use them tish year due to basic and mct in California i wont be home till mid December but i will be ready to put something down With them next yeat
Finally got my deep 6 kill zones in the mail, and my oh my sweet cherry pie these things look siiiick!!!! Kansas venison beware come September 17th! One thing I found odd, is that the deep 6 version is offered with the cut on contact tip only. However, my free practice head has the trophy tip. Does that seem weird to anyone? Anyone else with These broadheads know if they make COC practice head?
For those of you that already have these, I have a question. In the pics that I have seen it looks like where the blades cross at the top you actually have a back edge of one of the blades aligned next to the sharp edge of the other blade on each side of the ferrule....? Is that what I am seeing? If it is, I am wondering how much it would affect penetration.......

So, you're going to get the same flight regardless of the style of tip. It was simply more cost effective to use only one tip for the practice heads. With the D6, with the whole Deep Six system of arrows, inserts, etc. being new this year, NAP chose to keep the line of available broadheads to a limited lineup to see how the demand for the Deep Six system was at the consumer level. So, the D6 lineup may in fact get extended depending upon the reception and popularity of the Deep Six arrows, inserts, etc. Choosing to only offer the KillZone in one model to start within the D6 offering—C.O.C. tip version got the nod over the Trophy Tip version to be included in the D6 lineup.
Could you shed some light on offering a 125 grain option. I would really like to give these a look in the future. All the NAP products I have tried have been great so far and I don't see these being any different.
