This is just another one of those posts saying how well the killzone broadheads work. Shot this doe at 8 yards quartering away and it did a number on her. I don't have a picture of the exit or entry hole on this deer but I do have the entry on my first deer of the year. but it was a complete pass thru. Not to mention this is the second deer that this broadhead, and arrow have killed this year. image.jpg

Nice shot... congrats. Did you hit any of the shoulder blade?

The pic of the entrance hole is a different deer than the one of the heart. The one on the entrance hole wasn't a very good shot and it hit the shoulder blade. I got lucky and must have knicked the spine or something cuz he dropped. Not making excuses about that shot but I hit a branch. I should've seen it. But hey, it all worked out!

Okay... I love shooting a sharp down angle through the blade... it drops them rather quickly. I was just wondering how the KZ did with that.

Yeah I like it too! And it held up well! I've killed two deer with the one broadhead and it could still be used again! But I retired it for now hah. I shot rages last year and they performed well and did the job but te blades didn't hold up they got all mangeled when I shot my deer last year. And the KZ still looks brand new after a little cleaning and a sharpening.

Of course we may get hung out to dry by admitting we take less than perfect 90 degree shots. LOL
