I'm looking to upgrade my blind this year to a hub style blind. I've found a killzone 360 for around $100. This seems to be the lowest price I've seen on a hub style blind. I'm wondering if anyone here has actually bowhunted from one. If so is there enough room for two adults turkey hunting with a bow? I'm not good picturing something by measurements so I would like some first hand knowledge. Sent from my LG-E980 using Tapatalk
If my wife would leave me alone I would already have one of those. I drew out the measurements on the garage floor just to see what it looks like and I think there will plenty of room for two people. I know that's no help, best I can do.
I told her guys on the internet are making fun of me....so she said get one and shut up about it. Should be here by Monday!!
I've had the ameristep brick house and the ameristep dog house. Liked both of them and could fit two people in them. I think I got he dog house for $60. I really like double bull blinds but they are higher.
I've never used that specific blind. I can say I have had quite a few. We stopped buying everything but the Rhino Outdoors blinds. They are pretty darn nice. You really cant beat XP-1 for $199 with a Lifetime frame warranty. Arguably they are comparable to a Double Bull. There are some features I like better on each blind. At the same time I can buy 2 XP-1s for the price of 1 Double Bull and the warranty is much better. We have snapped rods and what not. We just call them up and they will jam as many replacements rods as they can in the box. Just costs you the shipping!
Ya the brickhouse I found for 99 looks the be same size as the killzone Sent from my LG-E980 using Tapatalk
i have the brickhouse and the dimensions are close to the killzone, it is plenty big enough for 2 people
http://ads.midwayusa.com/product/31...under-350-ground-blind-90-x-90-x-80-polyester I've heard good things about these and this is a good price on them Sent from my LG-E980 using Tapatalk
I've got the Dog house. One thing I'd like to mention that other hunters may or may not have trouble with. I'm not an "overly tall" person. You could say I'm "vertically challenged" . I'd recommend getting a stool that sits a little taller than the average hunting stool if you can. When I sit in an average stool in the doghouse, It's uncomfortable to get a good draw back and be comfortable with my sight. Just something I thought might help.
I'm going to purchase a Grounder 350 by Barronett. They are huge (70x70x80) and can be found for $140.
