I have said in the past that the US could ban all guns and remove them all from the public and the US would lead the world in stabbing deaths.

Sky I beat the Gov't to the punch and disposed of every single shotgun, rifle and handgun in the house, they are all gone.:)

I'm not a paranoid person by nature, probably too trusting actually. I've taken the class to get my CCW permit 10 months ago but I never put in for the CCW yet. With all of the stuff going on, I'm putting in for it but I find it absolutely infuriating that I cannot bring a firearm to work with me (Federal base/installation). I could even somewhat understand if I could bring it on base but not in the building (still would annoy me). I know that where I work would be a prime target area for these cretins and there isn't a dang thing I can do to protect myself (and/or others). Something is just wrong with this.

These are all calculated and well thought out events.... No doubt about it. You don't go shoot up a school or mall on a whim.

But are you guys saying these are connected events orchestrated by the government to sway public opinion against guns? Sounds a lot like the "Bush Did 911" bogus claims. This sucks for sure, I'm saddened for those involved.

I'm not saying our government is doing it, but I am saying there's an awful lot of smoke not to be a fire, and the administration is all too ready to jump on it and beat the drum for gun control. Think about the targets that have been hit and ask yourself why were these types of targets chosen? If these are terrorist that hate America, why aren't they attacking the government, or icons that would really drive their point home. Instead these are what seem like completely random targets.

they would never get all the guns. you know how many unregistered guns there are in the us alone? millions. I have over a dozen unregistered and tons of ammo for it. I can't count how many unregistered guns my friends have also. the only thing they will do is put restrictions on ammo. no ammo = no shooting! like sota said next will be knives then bows then spears then sharpened oak branches. if people have it in their heart to kill no lists or vetting or any other type of screening will help. they will find any way to kill. soon it won't be guns it will be chemical warfare. poisoning water supply, agent orange things like that are next.

That he did. I do agree that people on "no fly lists" should not be able to buy guns but we all know what his real agenda is. Disarming the entire population would give these socialists a rise in the nether regions.

I don't think this or any other terror attack has been...but Op Fast and Furious sure as hell was.

Nothing to see here in San Bernadino, folks...just work place violence triggered by Christian extremists forcing their misunderstood Islamic friends to attend a Chrismas party.

So my question is.....if guns are outlawed and there is an attempt to collect them all, who is going to go door to door and collect them? I can't imagine that there is anybody that disagrees with a ban on guns that would volunteer for it. So would it be some gun hating liberal? And would they be armed?

    Blaming guns is just silly.

Cleary Global Warming and white privilege are the real culprits.

That's a completely unconstitutional violation of due process. You know how you get on the "no-fly" list? The threshold does not even merit probable cause. There is no constitutional right to fly. There is a constitutional right to own and bear arms. You cannot deny someone a constitutional right without due process.

Dude, WTH are you talking about? These are just successful attacks; and there are dozens more foiled attempts against governmental institutions:

Ft.Hood (2x) US Army installation, GUN FREE ZONE, soft target
Chattanooga, US Marine recruiting stations, GUN FREE ZONES, soft targets
Little Rock Arkansas, US Army recruiting station, etc
Washington Navy Yard, gun free zone, etc
San Bernadino, County Government building, gun free zone, SOFT TARGET.

These are just a few. Do a quick search and see how many more successful attacks the have been plus how many more were stopped. There is nothing random about it.

    Can't do it?

Anyone remember what happened in New Orleans after the big hurricane?

Police went door to door to remove the "threat potential" of armed citizens against looters and the chaos that guns would cause.

Now can someone explain this to me.

The people that are pro - illegal immigration say that there is no way to find the 11 million "undocumented people" in the U.S.

These same people say that there would be no problem collecting the 350 million legal guns in the U.S.

    Yes this^^^^^
By that thinking of just being on a no-fly list being enough to suspends one's rights , you would have be OK with suspending additional rights.
If you're added to a no-fly list or any of the other list, they is no way to know you are, no way to contest it and if you did find out you would have to prove your innocent.
Very odd in a land of innocent until proven guilty.

If martial law were declared, I'm guessing you constitutional rights go right out the window and I've felt all along we are heading in that direction.
