Getting real excited here in Ohio. One of our shooters is still showing himself in the daylight. Hopefully he makes that mistake in two weeks.

We interrupt the 2014 deer season to bring you a dead bear.

As of two days ago he has not shed his velvet yet, he's not our biggest buck. But he's the shooter that has been showing up the most during day light hours.

Lots of pics like this. I have more 2 year olds than I can shake a stick at.

I am jealous! That will probably be about the total quantity of bucks that I will see for the season. Wow!

Congrats on the Bear. Good to see some day time movement, and it's still early. I'd also wait.

You got him named right, holy crap. That is a big Deer. Good luck with him. Looks like you will have plenty of Bucks to choose from the next few seasons. Nothing wrong with that.

    Congrats on the bear Northern!

Been a slow morning for me.
Planning on getting down at midday to check on the acorns in another section of oaks. Haven't been on this property since last season so I don't know what to expect. I'll let you guys know if I do any good. uploadfromtaptalk1410783477715.jpg

Which Elite bow you shooting? I picked up an Energy 35 this year. Holy crap is it amazing! It probably is not a speed bow, but I could care less. No torque and very, very little noise! Definitely a killing bow...at least I hope so. Good luck out there!

2012 Answer. I absolutely love shooting this bow. I did however shoot a ten yr old mathews lx up until I picked this up, so pretty much all the bows I shot before buying felt incredible.

Thanks benkahrr, wish it was a pic of dead deer but still have a lottle time left....
