Killed a doe, but no rush

    Yeah, haha. I wasnt really referring to my age. I was talking about out of the deer that I have shot, buck or doe, bow or gun, I get excited regardless. Maybe that will die with age, but at this point, I could fall out of a tree when I see a big enough buck. JMO

    Most of the time lately, when I shoot a doe it is very matter of fact. I'm always happy to shoot a deer and put meat in the freezer, but at this point there's nothing to get overly excited about unless the situation surrounding it is a good one. Then sometimes I'm beyond thrilled.

    Congradulations on your doe. I was able to get one October 1st. Still get that feeling as soon as a deer comes out.
