The other day i had an Idea. I grow raspberries in the garden but they needed thinned badly. So I had been selling them. They get 6-7 feet tall and really thick. It just hit me out of no where, why not plant them around my food plots in the woods. This would create a great screen so those cruising bucks have to actually come into the plot in order to check it in the rut. I use Egyptian wheat around the field plots but had no answer for the woods ones. I usually just pile up brush around the edges which works for a year or two. I hope this will be a permanent solution. Anybody ever done this? you could also use wild blackberry plants. if you didn't have raspberries.

    Here is a few pictures
planted about every foot, they should thicken into a full row in a year, thick and robust in two!

That's a pretty good idea! I need to thin some blackberry bushes in corner of pasture. I may try this
