I decided to a little hunting lastnight, this would be my 3rd trip out this year. I sat from about 530 till closing. Went home had some dinner and played some games with the kids. I did have a small 7 pointer come right to me. I never wore any scent killer or cover scent. He stuck around up wind, down wind all wind, all night. Even came up to smell the ladder. He looked at me once and went about his routine. Well anyway back to the point, I tucked my little girl in and gave her a kiss goodnite and she looks at me and says, "Take a shower in the morning, you smell like the woods". Bless her little heart, but I couldnt help but laugh. So apparently I did everything right lastnight by not bringing any forigne scent in with me. Just washed up with soap and water before I went out. Even had a smoke before I got there....so is it really necessary to spend all that money on scent killer and cover scent....you be the judge...
Thats pretty funny! But I have also wondered the same thing? Hunting has turned into a commercial sport if you ask me! Buy this buy that cuz the pros use it...bla bla bla bla..getting real sickening when one year they are promoting one product and thenthe next yr using and promoting a diff one...yada yada yada My twins are almost 2 now and are starting to jibber jabber and can only imagine what they might say at times
