Alright, I know we have lots of dad's here or will be here on the site shortly!

I am curious if any of you have any suggestions for decent camo for kids that won't break the bank! I want to get my older daughter some clothes this year but I don't want to spend a ton since she is growing like a weed!

Check out the sales racks at places like D ick's, I have seen stuff up to 75% off this time of year.

I will have to check it out. I have a friend that works at one and she might be able to help me out on a discount also.

I usually shop the discount rack at the local Gander... my oldest boy used his christmas gift certs to go to gander and he ended up finding a GREAT jacket for about 75 bucks, 3-1 that is water proof with the zip out liner... i tried to find one for myself cuz I liked it so much... it was sweet!!!

I talked to my friend that works at *ick's and she said they don't carry any of the kids camo at her store. Guess I will have to check the racks at Gander like SevenMag suggested!

What we need to do is just start a gear swap for kids. I am sure that I have some stuff that my daughter will never use again that I am sure some others on the site could put to good use and vice-versa!

that's a good idea ferg... the stuff I've got will likely go thru two boys before it gets entered in the swap though... so it might not be in such great shape, but I'm not sure how much that will matter for kids...

So I hadn't been to Gander in a week or two and went in today. They have a tone of Camo at 25-75% off!! Scentlok included so head on in if you are in need of new threads. Great idea on the kid clothing swap Fergus!

Actually, that's what i did for my kid last yr. A friend's kid outgrew his clothing, so he gave them to me. I think that's something we should think about doing. Instead of throwing them away, find out what size is available & put dibs in for it. When my kid outgrows this set, I'll gladly hand them over to whoever could use them. only thing to pay for is shipping.

I always buy my kid his stuff at the end of the year. Gander clears there camo stuff out then and I'll buy it big so it will fit him the next season! Its amazing how much you can save buying it on clearance!!!!!!!!

Well it looks like I don't have to worry about it this year now. A complete lack of interest on my daughters part will most likely keep her home all season.

She just turned 9. She has no interest in going in the woods this year but loves to go the range with me. Will definetly have to get all the kids together in the next few weeks!

I feel you guys here. I just spent $150.00 bucks on my son this weekend for some boots, shirts (2) and bdu pants. Crap. and he is only 9. I have a lot of clearance racks to look through.

Well I have been asking again and it appears I can skip this year on purchasing her clothes. Definetly doesn't want to go hang out in the woods. I am hoping that changes next year.
