I have never been there but have hears that the land between the lakes is a good spot. That is where I was thinking about going but got a great spot in ohio.

I have hunted LBL and H&H but its been so long I cant help you any. Back in the day you might even run into Fred Bear hunting LBL for a Fallow Buck.

Get ahold of bloodcrick, germ or grizzly. They have all been on the public ground down there. Grizzly lives there.

I'm sure like most public ground you will have other hunters to deal with. Early season shouldn't be too crowded but the heat might be tough to deal with.

The LBL has produced some great deer in the past...I live aboout 15 miles there...I haven't hunted it in a long time since I have secured some pretty good private land...If you have any questions please feel free to let me know...
