kentucky black bear hunting

    Hey does anyone know if kentucky allows non residents to hunt black bear now a days? Have a small lease full of black bear. Any websites or comments are appreciated!

    I dont believe NR can hunt bears yet, only residents. I may be wrong but I now on our lease in Lewis county we cannot

    Only in 3 counties and open to residents only. If your a resident I say head on down. We can't keep them out of the trash. Past 2 yaers there has been a good snow on the gound, but despite that 2 very nice bears were killed last year.

    thanks for the info. i have some family from letcher county with a pretty decent sized piece of property. from what they have told me it is over run with bear, but unfortunately I am not a resident. hopefully they will change that law soon
