    You're right and it's impossible to leave it up to common sense because all too often that is in short supply.

    I really don't consider myself a Trophy hunter, but if I tag a Buck I'm thinking he'll be a P&Y class buck or I won't draw on him. Do I make mistakes? Sure, but hopefully each one I have learned from and the mistakes will be fewer and farther between.

    I wouldn't shoot that 6 point this year but if he adds another 20 to 30 inches next year, he will probably be fair game to me :-)

    Kewl!!

    I also think the spread is a more practical and effective AR than points on one side. I see way too many young bucks that have 4 points on one side that would get wasted.
