This is a long shot, but would anyone out there have a Keller Pendulum Sight for a right handed shooter they’d be willing to part with?

One of the older members of my bow club had his shop burn down and all of his hunting gear was in it. He’s finally about to buy a new bow but he loved his old sight and is trying to find another one. I told him I would check on the forum.

He found one on eBay but it was a left hand model.

The one I used for years was made by Savage. Maybe search for one of those. Both of them are getting hard to find.

Bought one of these when mine broke. It has to be this model or it's not the same thing you're looking for.

I wish I could help you out with that. I shot one of those for years. It was the best and most simple sight ever. But it went away when I quit shooting the compound about 5 or 6 years ago.

Many thought the pendulum sight was a joke. It truly was the simplest and easiest sight to use. Especially from a tree stand. Never missed a shot and took more than a dozen deer using it.

Unfortunately, after a 15 year hiatus the plastic on the Savage deteriorated. Couldn't find either. Settled on the Tru-glo. Not as good but, no complaints.

Yessir. I hunted with a pendulum sight for approximately 10 years in the late 90's, early 2000's. They were a bit fickle to get setup correctly, at least with my inexperience as a young guy at the time. But once dialed in, they were very good. I never could find one that was silent however. All of them seemed to have a rattle at one point or another. But the simplicity in the treestand was unbeatable.

But, with todays faster arrow speeds, I don't see much need for them any longer. I can easily shoot out to 30 yards with a single pin and cover out to 40 with a two pin setup.

I wanted to thank you publicly for sending your pendulum sight to my hunting buddy.

I just got off the phone with him and he told me that you sent him the sight free of charge. I really appreciate you taking care of him. This old world needs more people like you in it.

    Take care, and thanks again.
