Great to hear. I bought a bag of the Last Bite, covers 1/4 acre and has a variety. Also going to plant the WI that I have and going to go pick up some clover and sun hemp/egyptian wheat probably. In all, hopefully cover about a full acre. Hopefully one day I can say the same thing possibly. I appreciate all the help and will try to keep updated pics posted of how it is looking.

Well the seed is in the ground. Now it is just time to pray for good results. Good news is we got a good rain last night, so hopefully that will help. Thanks again for all the advice!:tu:

    Kentuckybuck,
You started this thread asking how you can pull and keep deer on the land that you're hunting.
There have been some good suggestions about different types of food plot plants.

Another important part of attracting deer to live on your property is creating the best bedding areas
those deer have ever seen. If you create a 5 star hotel for deer on your property, they will want
to spend the day bedded on your property and not your neighbor's.

Not only can you control where they bed during the day, you can then also control where they
travel and spend their time when they get up at the end of the day.
The more time deer spend on your property, the less time your neighbors have to shoot them,
and the more chance you have that they walk by your stand.

I live in Michigan and have been forced to get creative with our habitat because of the extreme
hunting pressure on small properties. It works great in my area, and works even better in areas
    of lower hunting pressure.

Send me a private message if you want to see a video of how this is done.

Would you be interested in Jake and I coming to your property next spring before green up
so I can film you showing Jake what you have done to transform your habitat for the better?

Just thought Id give an update. The plot is showing and seems to be growing, but maybe not sure if growing fast or good enough. Been about 3 weeks and it is maybe 2 inches out of the soil. Is that good? If not, anything I can do to help ? Thanks.

Also, I will be in touch probably this Spring about setting that 5 star hotel up! Thanks for the help and advice.

I'd say that's about as much as you can expect this soon, sounds like it's doing okay to me but I'd like to scold you a little for not taking and posting a piccy, lol, jk.
