Ever once in a while I get the urge to mix things up a bit during practice, instead of the same old repetitive motions. I like to make practice as fun as possible, so i mind stays focused on the shot and I don't get bored(obviously). So tonight I shot a lighted at 100 yards. This was a first for me, and I though it was pretty cool. My question to you guys is, what do you do to keep things interesting?https://vimeo.com/129848792

    Nice shot.

I have a treestand on my home range I shoot out of sometimes, I mix up target faces, change distances a lot, stuff like that.

Nice shot - I love how a lighten nock shows the movement.

My luck, I'd pull like a crazy person and put a hole through the side of the pool!

Back in February, I was flinching a little bit. I was shooting with boxes behind the target in the warehouse. I got pissed and put the target off the ground about 2 ft right in front of my expedition. Dared myself to flinch. I can tell you this "you will NOT flinch".

Good stuff!! I have a ladder stand setup in the yard, and also shoot from the corner of my 17 foot deck. I have multiple 3d targets setup at various distances. I'll also set up the LW on trees in the yard and do the same.

I'm working on getting up in the air for practicing. I wish I had something easy to get up into, but I don't.
Going to make something, just not sure what yet. I shoot with my 2 sons (22 and 15 yrs old) so it would be nice to come up with something permanent and easy to access.

I shoot tennis balls with small game heads. This works for me as I shoot a 40 lb. draw. I have no idea at what draw weight the tennis balls explode, but my husband destroyed one with his 60 lb. draw. GREAT game for kids as the ball bounces and they love that.

I can barely see the spots at 40 yards, let alone 100. You sir have eagle eyes!

I had a few ladder stands laying around that I never used. You can find them on craigslist pretty cheap. If you were near by I'd give ya one! I still use a lifeline and hook up every time.
Not knowing your house/property setup, can you shoot out a 2nd story window? When I was a kid my dad did that and also off our roof.
