That is not good. Honestly and I am not trying to start an argument here that is why I use climbers when I can. I hook my rope up on the ground and I slide it up as I climb and it doesn't get unhooked until my feet are back on the ground. I hang and hunt a little as well but the linesman belt does not feel as safe to me as tying off.
