You will like the pescador. Like I said, I have the angler version of that kayak and it works great for me. The dry storage up front is great for storing things for overnight stays, but otherwise it doesn't get used much. The back has two rod holders and plenty of room for a big tacklebox or cooler. The side handles work well to attach a metal stringer or fish basket.

Could a milk crate fit in the recessed rear tank well on the pescador? It didn't on the frenzy so it just sat on top.

If I had a do-over, I would have never bought my bass boat. I would have purchased a high-end kayak, like a Hobie. Go on lake-links and look up kayak fishing or youtube it. There are tons of ideas to modify a kayak to your liking for fishing. Seeing the videos for Lake Michigan are awesome. Look to see if there are any kayak fishing clubs near you to get any ideas. They are getting pretty popular.

Even though you didn't end up buying it the fs12t is by far the best bang for your buck on starter kayaks. This was my first. I ended up winning several tourneys out of it.

I took those winnings an went an bought a feel free lure 13.5. This thing is super stable and comfy. Comes with a rudder so it's easy steering.

I've had both on small rivers and huge lakes. They both work great it just came down to me being able to stand easier in the lure. Hope you have fun in your yak!

Of the kayaks you posted the perception is the one I'd choose. But still, you can't beat the ascends for the price.

Standing up to fish is not something I really want or need. I had no limitations in my fishing style while seated. I really just need something to get me to where the fish are. Don't need anything fancy at all. Just a good all around solid boat.

Yeah, wasn't something i wanted either. Things changed for me though. Sitting for 8+ hours during a tourney was killing my legs and hips. Standing is great even if it's just to stretch.

Not sure I'd want to stand in the bays (where I'll be fishing most often) as I would be scared to capsize from a large wake
