I have a spot on public land I found last year and started hunting this year. Earlier in the season had a guy walk in on me, no biggie. A week later I walk on and he is sitting in a tree 10 yards from mine, again no biggie. I went down to southern Ohio and when I got back the next morning I headed to this spot, only to find a gut pile under the tree. Early morning so I didn't think too much about it but as the sun came up I could tell that deer hadn't died there. When I got down I tracked the blood and found where the deer had died about 50 yards away. So this guy drug the deer to my spot and gutted it. Lucky for me he left his (which is now mine) tru ball fang release.:woot:

Don't understand why some people get a thrill out of being jerks.

What would you have me do ask every hunter out there if that is their release?

Leave it, so when the person who lost it realizes, they can return and retrieve it.

Exactly! I would have done the same thing given those circumstances.
