Thinking about applying for a out of state tag next season. I was thinking Kansas but the kicker is i want to hunt public land, does anyone have any experience with public land in any of the midwest states not just kansas please give me some feedback really want to hunt somewhere new.
My experiences have been excellent on public land in Kansas. I've only been to a couple of areas but, I try to get a tag each year knowing that private land access may be limited. I've seen LOTS of big deer killed on public land there.
