I got this buck on camera about 2 weeks ago. I was wondering what your thoughts were about the age and score of this bad boy. Thanks!

I think he's a tad older at 4+ and score upper 140's conservatively. Musculature to me suggests he's a little over 3+ but it's a close call between the two. I think he'll score well because he has pretty long mains, good mass and that split G2.

    4 1/2 or older.

    Gross - 149 6/8" - Net - 140 2/8"

No belly, no back dip, face doesn't seem real long. My guess is a dandy low 140s 3.5 year old!

3.5yo, 145in. Would give it 4.5yo on the antlers but the body shape and head size say 3.5yo. I would say the body characteristics tell more then the antlers.

4 year old bucks barely have a belly and no backdip generally...just for posterity sake. The biggest difference is in BMI and is generally reflected in musculature and leg to body ratio and neck to shoulder transition. A 4yo will look more in proportion leg wise and that's hard to tell from these pics for sure but his neck/shoulder area has lost the definition of a younger 3yo...at least to my eye (pic 2).
Anyones guess really but that's why I guessed 4+.

Thanks everybody for the responses. I've only been hunting a few seasons and he's the biggest buck I've ever gotten on camera. I sure wouldn't hesitate to shoot him this season.
