makes losing an arrow in the woods a real issue! I understand better materials etc. but just because it was made out of a single piece of whatever steel it isn't doesn't make it worth that much money (at least to me and my budget). I find it hard to swallow the price on the broadheads I currently use, $40 for some Spitfires and $40 for Stinger Buzzcut 4 blades ever do the math on the total all in price of a hunting arrow? Makes that $3 rifle round seem cheap If my math is right I think my hunting arrows are each just over $41 These heads would make it $86.15 per arrow
That's crazy. Like you said, that makes shooting my 45-70 sound downright inexpensive. Right now I'm set up with four 4-packs of Slick Trick Magnums that I got for $20 per pack from a friend who switched to big cut mechanicals. He didn't want the Slick Tricks any more. Of course, he wasn't going to give them to me, but I've got a good stash of high-quality $5 broad heads.
The world of hunting equipment is getting very niche which comes with high end pricing. Better in regard to “quality”? Yes probably. Better in regard to more effective? I’m not sold. Ask Roger Raglin how much he’d pay for a pack of heads.. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
