Hey Justin I know you are shooting the rampages and i have a question right now im shooting the 300 spine rampage out of my No Cam HTX cut just under 27 inches with the regular insert that 56 grains and a 125 grain head to break up the spine a little as i went with the stiffer end of the spine just to get a little more weight since i was on the line between 350 and 300.
My question is, is there any way for me to get a little more weight out of these im sitting around 430 grains right now and the upgraded insert looks to be only 2 grains more.

You can use brass HIT for inserts. You can also epoxy in a HIT behind the halfout your already using, either brass or the standard hit .

trial hit the nail on the head - add some weight behind your already installed inserts. Although at 430 grains and your draw length I think you're sitting pretty good.

Okay if you guys think at 430 grains I'm sitting good I may as well just leave it alone as I'm shooting real well

I have a solution that might work. The Black Eagle inserts are threaded all the way through. The GoldTip FACT weights can screw into the back of your inserts. You have to use the ones for the Kinetic arrows. Here is a link at Lancaster. With the wrench you can add weight in 10 to 20 grain increments at will provided you did not glue in your nocks. Just tested with my 300 Rampages that I got yesterday.

Bow is the Mathews HTR 27" Draw 70#, using QAD Ultra Rest and HHA Optimizer Ultra, so very similar setups. Like you I was right on the line so I went with the 300s I'm shooting for 450 grains so I will probably be adding the 20 grain fact weights. Depends on how tuning goes though. gonna try both. Thats the good thing about the facts is that you can add and remove if things don't work out. I cut the shaft right at 27 minus the nock and the insert.

Im waiting on the fetchings to come in to finish up the arrows so I can shoot them.

personally i recommend against 100 grain head with these arrows on our bows just because i was getting alot of visable side to side movement in flight

I'm realize this may be way cheaper then getting new broadheads, how well do they stay secure ?

I have used them on GoldTips and Easton Axis in the past and have never had an issue with the weight coming loose. If you did you can apply a little bowstring wax to the threads and that will prevent that.

I just got around to cutting my arrows, cleaning them, squaring them and gluing in the inserts last night. Will probably fletch them tonight with the Hellfires. Then I should be ready to start getting serious with this setup.

To note though I was very surprised how much of a hit FOC took when adding a lighted nock to the setup. According to the calculator the FOC was around 15.6% on my setup. by adding the extra weight of the lighted nock to the end it fell to around 13%. Not horrible by any means but surprising it was that much.
