There is a lot I liked about it. But it’s not as fast nor as smooth as my SR6. I do love the Deadlock technology though. Of the three, I find myself drawn to the SS the most. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The SS is also appealing to me, but with a short dl of 27.5" I tend to lean towards more aggressive bows so that I have a chance at maintaining some decent speed with a hunting arrow. I haven't even shot an SR6 yet. I plan to shoot an SR6, Solution, and perhaps the Solution SD and see which feels the best to me. I also want to try a VXR and V3.
I know this will sound irrational but I hate split limb bows, at my age I probably will never buy another new bow for myself will stick with my 340 Destroyer with Barnesdale limbs.
Well shoot, apparently I waited too long to try a SR6. Our local North40 website showed they had some so I went up last night to try it. They only have two left, one is a left hand and the other is 60 lbs limbs. Didn't bother to shoot it, I want 70 lbs limbs. I didn't feel I'd get a very good read on how it compares if I can only shoot it at 60 lbs. Today I'm going to try a Solution and possibly a Revolt-X. Place I'm going doesn't have an SD. Not sure if he carries Mathews, if he does I'll try the V3 and VXR-31 too.
im still hunting with my D350 that I’ve had since Thanksgiving weekend of 2009 minus the Barnsdale limbs. Love this bow!
