Well looks like my 2018 season is gonna be pretty rough. The fiancé and I just made the down payment on our wedding venue. The only problem is that it is scheduled for October 13th, 2018. She is lucky I love her

You signed away more then just the 2018 season. Lol. You signed part of all of your seasons away. Remember that anniversary falls during hunting season every year!

    But congrats.

I love to hunt but my wife is worth more to me than hunting. I guarantee you will still be able to hunt and the relationship and commitment between 2 people that love one another will last throughout your lifetime. Congrats.

My wife and i's anniversary is October 13 too. Her birthday is November 8th. I'm glad she's not sentimental about those things! Lol

Haha, both the girls in my family have November birthdays, right during the rut. Hard to excuse myself from that each year. Thankfully our anniversary is in June!

I am lucky that all family events are done before Sept 1.

My anniversary is November 11. I have not been home on my anniversary since 2009. This year I will be in Kansas on anniversary as well.

Making a hobby a priority over family is never a good thing.

Remember that its only fair if your wife also gets to go and do what she wants for equal time.

First of all, Congrats! I am getting married this Saturday four years from the day we met. I'm glad it is before season starts tho! Two of my daughters have late October bdays, but it has never really been an issue as far as hunting goes...I'm just broke as a joke. It'll all work out. Enjoy it. Besides it will make the time you may get on stand even more meaningful.

Congrats on y'alls special day. As for me all my hunting seasons are about to be wide open. But I wish you the best and hope she's an understanding woman.

Thanks for the well wishes everyone. The future wife is very understanding when it comes to hunting seasons. We've been together for 8 years already so she knows it is what keeps my sanity. 10/13/18 can't come soon enough!

Oh, it'll be here before you know it. Don't rush the time.

Congrats on the engagement/wedding. My husband and I are very into hunting and racing. So I literally had two weeks to choose from between the two, lol.
