If you'd be interested in receiving one, sign up here and tell me why you would want to receive a copy. PS - This is for an e-book.
Oh come on. Who would want a book by an Air Force jock? Correct... NO ONE. LOL And besides that, I don't want your free book. Tell us the name and who printed it and I'll gladly pay for it on Amazon or whoever. You don't need to be giving away free copies... make us pay. I received one free book and it was because I gave the author a lot of stuff to use. Make us pay..... we aren't that poor. LOL Book name and publisher please.
That would be an Wingnut that also did a tour as a squid and three tours as a grunt! lol It's available through booktango.com and kobo.com right now (will be out through amazon and google next month. The Book is entitled "As I See It. The Prose and Rants of a Retired Military Man" http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&frm=1&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&sqi=2&ved=0CC0QFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fbookstore.booktango.com%2FProducts%2FSKU-000621520%2FAs-I-See-It.aspx&ei=zZbGULDwKqWo2gWM34DwCg&usg=AFQjCNHliuhDnbZZPxmU1wbvWbyvnFjG9w http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...34DwCg&usg=AFQjCNEn1n-xEoy5Rxc0pxDlOR39CeK7uQ
OK...feel proud... you just sold a book. I ordered it on line from BookTango. It'll give me something to read when I'm in Seattle over the holidays. A bit at a loose in the title? What in the hell does an airforce jock have to rant about... other than slower than normal promotions>lOL My son went Air Force... when he went in, Duke ROTC, he thought he would make it a career. They sent him to school in Missippi for almost a year... then to Colorado Springs He just about died from boredum. He said his highlight of the day was coffee and reading the paper. The kid had a mind and an education and they gave him nothing to do except go in the mountain once in a while. He finally put in for an early out and got it. His next job and one he holds now was working for Bill Gates. He still says... I really wanted to make the military a career... but they gave me nothing to do. That's a sad commentary. But the upside... he makes a whole lot of money now. LOL How else could he put himself and wife on a plane and fly to Oahu for a long weekend. They got home last night on the redeye.
Wait. What's this? You're an author now? Geez I gotta get out more. Congrats buddy! That's awesome. I'll have to check that out.
Sci fi... what are you trying to do... duplicate the old dog seriesof books by Brown. I loved every one of those. Let us know when it comes out. I'll guarantee you one... and ONLY ONE sale. LOL Damn jet jockeys. Just kidding... you know I'm proud of ya.
David, I'll let you know when the sci fi book is available. It is entitled "E.A.R.T.H." and I'm still hoping to have it out early 2013.
Although it's against my morals as an Army pilot, I believe I'll break down and order the Air Force fella's book!
Well thanks Ryan, but I was an army chairborne ranger (MI) for 3 tours. Then, as a Korean linguist, the army in their infinite wisdom sent me to Germany and then stationed me on an air force base. What's a guy to do?
I'll sign up! My reasoning is this: You have challenged me in a duel, and to quote Sun Tzu, "If you know the enemy and know yourself you need not fear the results of a hundred battles."
A myriad of subjects from our life here in the country, this year's hunting season, Cooperisms, parenting, politics..... In PDF format, it's over 300 pages long.
I don't need no money, sold my Foreman 500 and paid med bills AND bought Christmas presents. Every penny made on this book goes to my granddaughter's college fund.
That's the spirit... make them feel sorry for your poor granddaughter. LOL Come on you cheap suckers... support the girls college fund. LOL I just love college girls. Oh wait, that makes me a dirty old man. Anyway, buy the guys book...it's cheap. You don't have to pay 20dollars extra because he's a big name author.
No, David they have no reason to feel sorry for my granddaughter as that little lady will do just fine. Now back to the original reason for this post, besides Fitz and Oly, anyone else?
Do that. I still haven't received my book. Must be they're letting the ink dry. If it doesn't get here by Friday I'll have to read it when I get back from Seattle Jan 4.
