    Well, we lost what little blood we had almost an hour ago out in the middle of this huge grass field.

    We're going to have to call this off. It's not the outcome I hoped for.

    We'll talk it over here and decide if we think it will help to come back in the morning.

    Well, we're pretty well convinced that we won't be able to find her, but we're going to hunt until around 9:00 and then go see what we can find in the daylight. Personally I'm not very optimistic. In that field daylight won't be of much help. We will almost have to trip over her to find her.

    I've wounded deer before but this is the first time that I've been unable to find one that I think I've killed.

    At this point were pretty sure that if we do find her what we'll find is what the coyotes don't eat. There are a lot of those here.
