check out some of the stores that may be near you. they had a bunch of boxed arrow set on clearance. I picked up a doz. easton axis ST's for $70. I paid $125 last yr for a doz. these are the older style axis, not the nano version (which make way too much noise when drawn). These I will use for hunting and the nanos for practice. Just passing along some info for your benefit.

What rest are you using? My AXIS Nano's make no noise when I draw with a Trophy Taker drop away.

My Hoyt is 1 for 1 with 138" of antler on it. Good luck with your second hand sacrifice:busted:

I"m using a Vital gear kazaway, drop away rest, but it's plastic and you can hear that arrow on there plain as day. Compared to the old ST's they don't have as smooth of a finish. I was at my proshop last week and the owner told me he talked to Easton reps at the ATA show. They even admitted it was a blundered finish, and they are coming out w/a new finish this yr or bringing back the old one. Either way, I'm stocked now on hunting arrows and on practice ones.

Sweet deal for sure, maybe I can pick up another couple dozen Nano's when they change the finish for cheap!

There were quite a few varieties there. Easton FMJs, AXIS in camo, 349s, 400's Carbon express. (i didn't look at the CX for models) I would definitely keep my eye open come mid summer.

Dubbya, don't know when I might get down that way, it's a cruise for me, but if I find a reason I'd do it for ya. Do you mind camo arrows. I'm pretty sure they had a box of those. Maybe what you can do is call them. It's the Bass Pro store in Gurnee Ill. I'm sure you can tell them what you want and have them send it. If I do get out there, you can pick them up at the GTG. Is anyone else close to Gurnee?
