So I'm shooting at my hunting cabin this past weekend.

25 yards I'm shooting pretty well...past that I'm a bit erratic...and I simply can't hold the bow steady enough to hold the pin steady....impossible to shoot a group.....I'm shooting about the size of a basketball at best....

My hunting partner watches me and says..."you're holding the bow so that it only touches your hand between your thumb and forefinger....keep your hand open but let the heel of your hand touch the handle as well".....Bingo bow is steady and my groups shrunk dramatically.

Low grip vs. High grip... glad it's coming together better for you.

I've been doing the same thing. I'll have to try it the other way and see if it improves. I've been pretty well self taught, but it seemed to be working good already. I haven't even thought about any longer shots so I've guessing this would help with them. Thanks

Many shots are won or lost with simply the grip....

Its amazing how the way your grip and the pressure of it can effect a shot, especially at 30+ yrds. Thanks for the tip.
