I'm starting to see some good ones hit the ground. We're about a week away from prime time here in Nebraska. I've already got my time off work tentatively scheduled. Can't wait! I'm like a kid in a candy store.

going out on Sunday. Theres going to be a good snow storm here in the northeast on sat so im finally going to bow hunt in the snow and its not even going to be November yet. Im hoping the snow will make the deer move at all hours.

That is a nice deer. Hope you can bag it. I have been working like a dog this month, but after friday I am off for two weeks and am going to be in the woods for all of it. I hope to find one half as good as that one. Already kissed my wife and kids good-bye until I get one. HAHA Maybe.

I've heard a couple of guys around here say they're seeing some prerut activity. I haven't witnessed it myself yet but we've got to be within a couple of days from it bustin loose. I'll continue to hunt hard over the next couple weeks to try and get it done before rifle season.

    thanks guys,
I will be hunting it hard this weekend.
We are definetly in pre-rut you can see in that pic that he is working a mock scrape I made.
I sat that set Saturday nite and had 7 deer cross the river right by me. 3 leaving my property and 4 coming to it one of them was this High rack 8 that I have pics of but they got spooked by a doe that fell climbing out of the river and they all took off.
I am really hoping to put that 13 on our board I think he might be pushing about 160-165

Hey guys. I'm finally in Kansas. I've been here a couple days now.I will be here for over 2 weeks doing nothing but bowhunting. I've seen alot of small bucks chasing does so far, so the rut shouldn't be too far off. I spotted a 150 in. 8 point with a doe yesterday but he will get a pass for this week though. I ended up picking up one of his sheds on the way out after putting up a treestand. I rough scored it at 66" so he should be a little bigger now. I will try to keep you posted on my progress.

    Good luck guys....

Well guys I passed on a 120" 10 pointer yesterday morning and another 120" 9 pointer in the evening. I know there's better ones out there though. Hopefully I don't regret my decision but they weren't what I'm looking for. I want to wish you all good luck. It would be nice if we could close the gap on some of the other teams.
