Just called the only Mathews dealer in town and they just so happened to have a Mathews Creed with 27.5" draw 70# model in stock. Got it set aside for me going to pick it up on Monday. Do any of ya'll out there have a Creed? and if so what do you think of it?
Congrats on the new bow! I don't have the creed,I currently have the Z7 extreme but I can say I think you will be very happy with your new bow.I have owned three mathews bows and will probably never own anything else.
Just got back from the shop went to go shoot the new bow and after shooting a few different Mathews bows I ended up going with the new ZXT. At 70 lbs it was just a little easier to draw than the creed and shot smooth as butter. Pick it up on Monday. Can't wait!!
Congrats on the new bow, I jus picked up a zxt in December and have really enjoyed shoting it. I switched from originally wanting the creed too but it was because of the shorter ata since I hunt out of blinds about as much as treestand.
Same here, I do a lot of sit on my a** hunting during the spring for turkey and treestand during fall/summer for deer so I wanted a shorter bow that would be able to handle it all. That pse i have is a 28" ATA but the riser on it is only like 18" so it is about as far from forgiving as you can get and the last thing I want is to get the blood pumping seeing a good deer and torque it just a little and wound an animal. this ZXT has a really forgiving brace height and even though it has a short ATA it has a really long riser to compensate for it to make it just as accurate and forgiving as a normal 30-31" ATA bow. Can't wait to pick it up monday and start shooting it.
