I have been running trail cams for many years. I started out before they even had digital cams. I ran the old Stealth Cam 35 mm cams. Spent a ton of money on developing film. From their I went to the old Moultrie cams. Liked them, but they went thru the batteries like crazy! Then I went to the Cuddeeback Captures. As much as everyone hated them, I loved them. I ran them for years, until I started getting into homebrews. I had 3 of the captures, but sold 2 of them so I could build a couple more homebrews. Then the last one finally took a crap. I feel like I got my money out of that one tho, I had it for years. I should add that I still feel that the Caprure took the best pics out of all of my cams. ( All tho the S600 is a close second) So then I was running just homebrews. I have had a P32, a P41, and now 2 S600's. I love the S600, but changing the batteries is kind of a pain. Last year, I got started on the Coverts. I now have a 2012 Red 40, and a 2013 Red 40. I have never been a fan of the IR pics of any cam on the market, but I feel to this day that the Coverts take the best IR pics of any cam out there. And I love the video mode of the 2013 model. But lately, I have felt that the IR pics from my Coverts have gotten worse, meaning very blurry. Then last week, I started having problems with the 2013 Red 40. It was telling me that there was no memory card, and I format all my cards every time I change them. I now have that cam at home and I am going to do some testing on it. The 2 things I like the best about the Coverts, is the battery life, and the day pics. NOw tonight I checked cams again, and now one of my 600's is not taking pics!!! So I brought that one home now too so I can test that one too. Sorry for the long post, just had to vent a little.

Have you talked to Pat or anyone else in customer service? I have not used the Red40's as much this year but I do have a few. I really like the MP6 Black but the ones I have had have worked well.

Without a name or a RA# it would be impossible for me to know. . . . .

I do know if we have received it ... it has been taken care of and shipped back out as of 630 tonight.
