Just missed a real nice buck.

    I rushed the shot, he was bird doggin a doe real hard. Had a real good opportunity to take a 135-140 inch buck. That was crazy only deer activity I saw.

    If I was tree hunting I would be bating 100%

    Glad it was a clean miss.

    Clean miss is the next best thing to kill shot! Glad it was clean. Now you have a story and a learning experience. Maybe it will be easier to stay composed on the next big buck.

    Wasn’t buck fever, he was on the move. Stopped him with a bleat from my mouth. I should have let the doe come back in front of me. Would had a closer shot. That’s why they call it hunting instead of killing.
