    new to bow hunting, and have a few basic questions. with deer season around the corner, i would like suggestions for a good intro fixed broad head.

    I was thinking about going with a 100 gr, i a 45 lb compound bow

    I had the 4 blade buzz cuts 100gr. My bow is 70lb. I'm not an expert but I don't see why it wouldn't work for you. I have been shooting and hunting for 5 years. So hopefully some one with more knowledge will chime in also.

    I just changed over to expandables but I used muzzy phantoms the last 2 years 125 grain work very well for me but the next year I couldn't find the same grain so I got 100 grain and the broad head had bleeder blades that would not allow me to screw them into my arrow so if I was u I would stay way from the phantoms

    I shot muzzy mx3 100 grain for years and never had any issues with them on hogs or deer. I just switched to Muzzy Trocar hybrids this year but haven't shot anything with them yet so I don't know how they will perform.
