    First hand experience... It works.

Doesn't matter if it is a young or mature deer. Pee is pee. One night after peeing in a mock scrape I had 3 different mature bucks use the scrape the next 2 days. The scrape was on a field edge and they visited it at night, but had it been closer to the rut I bet I would have had deer there during daylight.

I've heard it works but never tried it. I have read that in testing, human urine contains no human scent. I will say though that the things we eat and the air we breathe in effects the smell of our urine. I work in a tire factory. I smell horrible when I get off work. When I get home I go pee I can smell a hint of that rubber smell in my urine, of course without trying to. As for the tampon thing, I've heard it works. The high levels of ferrmons ( can't spell) attracts the deer. I definitely wouldn't try it though. To gross

I keep hearing about "research and studies show" but does anyone have any links to the actual studies. I would like to read them.

Years ago in my very early teen years I killed my first deer after many misses two days before the season ended. The next season I was knocking them down left and right. South Carolina had/has some pretty relaxed limit laws. Anyway, my uncle got mad telling me I had to let some walk. I killed another deer. The next time we went he put me in the worst possible stand on my great aunts place to teach me a lesson. Not only that, he peed about 15 to 20 yards from the stand and laughed, even said, now I want to see if you shoot one. I was furious. About and hour later here comes this big doe. Walked right where he had peed. And that was where she took her final step.

Now I don't know the pros and cons of peeing close to your stand or in a scrape, and don't know it has any adverse affects on deer, but I'd like to find out. So if anyone has any links please share them.

As for my reckless deer slaying days, they are well behind me.

This is why it is so important to have plenty of beer in stand.... so ya can stay hydrated and freshen all those scrapes on the way to the truck

I eat at least a pound of asparagus before piss in scraps. Deer are vegetarians and the asparagus smell makes them hungry.

I got my buck last year less then 2 hours or so after peeing in a scrape, I was scared as heck when he was sniffing it but he did, and continued down the way to check the rest when I dropped him. I'll be doing it again.

I really couldn't tell you if peeing in scrapes works, but what I've seen from my trail camera pictures, it doesn't hurt. I know one thing for sure though, you won't be catching me hanging my lady's rag from a tree. You know what they say, anything that bleeds for seven days straight and doesn't die is ***ked up!

Pee off the stand if you must, no need to pee in a bottle.

You won't be catching me doing that either. But I do want to help you choose your hat for the upcoming season. Guys on here have had good results with it! Just missing the secret ingredient.
