I love the shop I go to he's honest and sets everything up for me without any flaws,and his shop is usually refered to by the bigger stores.plus him and his wife pretty much breath archery.Hi just a couple of his kills over the years
Understandable on the shop thing. Was curious if it was the same one that I've been to and won't go back to ever again and will not recommend. I hold no affiliation to any of them aside from spending money at some of the ones I've been at in the east and northern suburbs. One really messed up my bow when I had them replace my string. Another I checked out in your area but don't like the staff or sales area. Great indoor range though as it goes to 40 yd I think. As to the moving to the NE comment, nothing creepy intended about it (shameless plug as we're putting our house on the market within the next year or two after finishing remodeling projects). Coon Rapids is typically considered a north/northwestern suburb. NE would be Mahtomedi, WBL, Hugo, Blaine and Forest Lake areas.
Oh NE, heh. I've only heard about one decent shop anywhere near the cities, but Bwana is also the farthest away from me.
Bwana isn't bad overall. But, I'm not overly satisfied with them as I went in a couple of times to make a purchase from them and it seemed like I was bothering them. Shooting there also seemed like it as well. But, I've been told that it depends upon whom is there.
