Amen! I'm late to the party but Scott and I have been communicating via texts so.... But well wishes again here bud.
Man, what a bunch of great people we have here on this site! I don't have a lot of time right now, just had to run home to shower, take care of the dogs and a few other things before I go back to the hospital. They are scheduled to stay there again tonight and be discharged tomorrow. I want to thank each and every one of you for taking the time to drop well wishes, prayers and thoughts on my family and I! I would also like to say thank you for all of the congrats that you have offered, I mean it from the bottom of my heart... You guys are awesome! I am pretty proud of the little guy and my wife. She was great throughout and did a fantastic job. The boy was almost 2 weeks late and she had to be induced... Started around 1:45PM on Monday afternoon and was delivered at 7:52 AM Tuesday morning! He came in at 21.5 inches long and 8 pounds 2 ounces! No problems with baby or mother at this time, every thing has gone smooth. Yes, I was in the room holding her hand.... NO, I did not watch the delivery BTW.. She just sent me a text and it says, "He is still snoozing like an angel! I just heard him fart." :d...... Just like his ole' man! Thanks again guys I will check back in tomorrow!
That is good to hear Scott. Give them both a hug for me. I can remember our first like it was yesterday!! Unless I missed something...do you tell us his name?
Don't know how I missed this one, But CONGRATS Scott!! Be sure to post up some pics!! 8lbs 2oz you say...? We'll decide whether thats true or not...lol. Congrats again!
have fun brotha, these times are the BEST... cuz little kids grow up to be teenagers... ARGH!!! i remember the first time I heard my oldest fart while he was sleeping... he let one go like a PROFESSIONAL... my wife rolled her eyes and said, damn, not another one of you!!! i laughed my butt off...

It really does mean a lot to us knowing that all of you were pulling for the baby and mother to have a safe birth. Again, I want to thank all of you for your support! We named him Carter Scott Abbott I will keep that in mind.... If he shows an interest in bowhunting, I will holler at ya :d You asked for it... :d
