Thats pretty sweet, I love sleds but quads are much more practical for me. My buddy just picked up another Firecat, don't know much about it other than it is fast.... scares the crap out of you fast. My buddy has had it well over 100 mph, I think somewhere around 125 mph.

This baby will do 35... maybe? But I've been riding my dad's '03 MXZ 800... Yikes that thing is scary fast!

There is a seat, it was in the back of the truck. Can't wait to get her together today. 247cc of old time fun!

Ah classic. My buddy has an old John Deere sled. Vintage sleds are cool. I just don't get enough snow to justify one.

I have a friend that also owns one similar to yours.
He calls it his "tractor" and that rig DOES go anywhere, good luck.

We used to ride the granite markers on the Canadian border together, in which he broke trail, then followed by a newer vintage long track and then myself.
They used to get pissed when I got stuck! Especially when there was 150+" of snow!!!

Well, tore it down, put it back together, rebuilt the carb, new plugs and gas lines and Presto...:nana:

    :hail: ...a working '73/'74 (Hybrid) Ski-doo Elan.

Now that I know it runs, I can really go through it for next year. Clean it up, new paint, maybe even a snow-camo job on the spare hood. Good times!
