Just got some great news...(UPDATE JUNE 14)

    Hey guys, sorry I haven't been around much! I've been working 50hrs a week since i finished up my second year of school! Hope all is well!

    Just got some good news I have to share though! My roommate got a job working for an outfitter up in the Yukon and is driving up there next Monday with all his gear and he asked me if I'd like to join him. I'm stoked.

    We're leaving next Monday (June 8Th) and making the four day drive through (what I hear is) some of the most beautiful country on the planet. When we arrive in Whitehorse, we'll stay a couple days and then jump over to Alaska a couple days for some fishing (halibut, and king salmon) then he'll head up to his camp the 17Th and I'll fly back to MN.

    Should be a great time, I'll be sure to take a lot of pictures and some video hopefully!!!

    Sounds like a blast Kyle and look forward to the pictures!

    Quick question....how is your roomate able to get a job in the Yukon? Is he Canadian? Just curious, as I know from experience how difficult it is for an American to get a work permit in Canada, if they don't own the business.

    Dan, he isn't Canadian, no. I'm not sure exactly what he'll be doing! As far as I know he knows the outfitter through prior hunting trips he and his dad have been on. He lost his job here in the states, and somehow got hooked up with his gig :confused:

    Quick update:

    We're in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada safe. 2 days of driving....pretty boring through manitoba and sascatch farm land!!! We should arrive to Whitehorse, Yukon tomorrow. I'll try to jump on then!!

    Already have a few stories, and pics :D
