    The buck is down and has been recovered, I'm leaving now to go help with photos and other "duties" of deer hunting. Apparently he's not much in the rack department, but he's a big-bodied mature buck (225-250+ lbs). Go figure, some more of our awesome Northern IL genetics hard at work!

    I'm sure one of us will post photos when we return home tonight! :rock:

    He's not much for antler size.. but he's definately 3 or 4 years old. My guess is 4. Probably would go 220-230 on the hoof.
